I grew up in southern California riding parks and playing in the sunny slush of Snow Summit. I began competing professionally in 2001 and soon after my first X-games appearance was introduced to riding and filming in the backcountry by Travis Rice on a trip to Jackson in 2002! I continued to compete in X-Games and other high profile contests until 2011, when I decided to focus solely on filming in the backcountry. Since then I’ve worked on several film project including, Intervals, Full Moon Film, Landline and Listen to the Eyes. I always enjoy returning to Jackson, as it is the place that first instilled my love of riding powder and the backcountry.

When I was a kid, I quickly understood that skiing was the best game in the world. Pleasure was always my goals during my ski days, holidays, weekends. Every day as soon as I came out of school, I had to escape on the slope, pretty easy for me because I lived 5 minutes from the lift. My dad forwarded me his spirit competition. After few years in alpine ski, I noticed that my true happiness was to go out from the slope, where everything Is free and calm. That why I do Freeride now, to let escape my personality in the pow.

I’m a professional snowboarder born and raised in the town of Jackson, WY. I started skiing at the age of 2 with the support of my dad who was on the JHMR ski patrol for over 25 years. I switch over to snowboarding or a.k.a “ The Dark Side”, as my dad would call it, at the age of 6. With snowboarding being the new fun thing in the mountains it became clear to me that I wanted to work as hard as I possibly could to achieve the dream of being a professional snowboarder. I competed at a young age and as I got older I started to get more interested in the filming side of the sport. I grew up watching snowboard videos with idols I looked up to my whole life. The last three years I worked on the new Red Bull Media House movie called, “The Fourth Phase” and Arbor Snowboards movie, “ Cosa Nostra”. Im so grateful to be doing what I do for a living and wouldn’t be able to do it without the support of my sponsors and amazing family. I’m currently working on new film projects and hope to live this dream, for many more years to come.
