Mountain Update

12:00 PM We still have partly sunny skies with a chance of snow showers this afternoon. Temperatures are warming up a bit but staying in the low teens. -AB

9:45 Headwall, Casper Bowl and Crags are now open! -AB

9:00 AM The Mountain is open! Headwall, Casper Bowl and Crags are closed! We received 7 inches of new snow since lifts closed yesterday, right now the sunshine is trying to come back with continued cloud coverage around the summit. Have fun out there! -AB

8:00 AM Look for continuing snowfall for most of the day to add to the 5 inches that have fallen since our lifts closed yesterday. There will be winds out of the NNW and colder temperatures will reach the mid to high teens across all elevations on the mountain today. It will be a great day for storm skiing. By early afternoon new snow accumulations will start to fill in and conditions up high will once again be fantastic! Enjoy the new snow and stay safe out there. -MB

Note on Mountain Weather

This snow and weather report is for Teton Village, Wyoming and Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Snowfall information is obtained from directly from the snow study plots maintained by the Bridger-Teton National Forest Avalanche Forecast Center. Weather information is obtained from NOAA and MountainWeather.com, but weather patterns in Jackson Hole are exceedingly difficult to predict - when venturing into the mountains, be prepared for rapid, dramatic weather changes.
